The client wanted privacy and a custom wood feel from inside this conference room, and looking through the windows from the hallway. In addition to providing the plantation shutters, Kirtz® made and installed custom sized trim pieces to cover all metal mullions visible from the hallway.
In addition to special trim, custom sized divider rails were fabricated to allow the shutter unit to recess into the jamb and prevent obstruction of the louvers at the metal mullion locations.

Shutters in Recreational Vehicles
Premium Cherry, 4 1/2” Hidden Tilt ~ Wichita, KS
Plantation Shutters were retrofitted into this RV to provide a custom look.
The hidden tilt system eliminates any rattle a tilt rod might cause.
A painted shutter with stained framing around it was used in this RV. Personalized touches include a custom header on each frame, providing a cornice appearance.
A custom fitted cornice above the door ties the look together.

These shutters, applied to the outside of the entry door, are fixed at a custom 45 degree angle to allow visibility from inside, and privacy from outside.
